Succulent and luscious, with flavours of juicy summer peach, raspberry and a touch of turkish delight. The Not the Norm range is for wines we may not make every year - in this case, a delightful blend of our best pinot gris and pinot noir.
Vegan friendly.
Reviews
"It's fabulously aromatic on the nose showing apricot, rockmelon, sweet cherry and mixed spice aromas. The palate offers excellent concentration and succulent fruit intensity, backed by bright acidity and finely polished phenolics, finishing flavoursome and crisp-dry. A blend of pinot gris and skin-fermented pinot noir. 5 stars." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Tasting Notes
Aroma | Delightfully scented, with strawberry, rose petals and fresh pears. |

Food Match | Equally well-matched with light summer salads and whatever you've thrown on the bbq. |
Viticulture | Ōhau vineyard is perfect for cool climate wine production. Late, dry autumns provide cool nights ideal for the slow flavour development during the ripening of the fruit. |
Winemaking | Preserving the vibrant flavours from the vineyard is at the core of our winemaking. To achieve this, a range of aromatic yeasts and slow cool fermentation is used. |
