Delightfully aromatic, with a plush, driven palate showing juicy ripe citrus and green apple with a sweet basil note.
Review: "It's fabulously aromatic on the nose, showing green apple, mango, kiwifruit and lemon zest aromas. The palate delivers excellent power and fruit intensity, beautifully supported by fine texture and bright acidity, finishing long and satisfying - 5 stars." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Tasting Notes
| Aroma | It's fabulously aromatic on the nose, with vibrant gooseberry and lime skin with a lifted passionfruit note. |
| Palate | Offering a plush driven palate, with nice mineral tautness and lots of fruit driving the finish. Shows flavours of juicy ripe citrus and green apple with a sweet basil note. |
| Food Match | Pair with grilled salmon or pan-fried snapper, served with Mediterranean-style vegetables. |
| Viticulture | Ōhau vineyard is perfect for cool climate wine production. Our temperatures drop several degrees before harvest, and the slow flavour development produces intensely aromatic, crisp, fruit-driven wines. 2024 was a lovely season for the aromatic whites, so our team could pick the sauvignon blanc at peak ripeness with no weather pressure or disease issues! The grapes were harvested in early April 2024. |
| Winemaking | The aim for this wine is a refined, mineral style. We select grapes from blocks with these characters and winemaker Jane Cooper uses slightly more restrained yeasts, and keeps the ferments clean and slow. This approach accentuates the fruit characters which naturally come from the vineyard. |
