Succulent and luscious, with flavours of juicy summer peach, raspberry and a touch of turkish delight. The Not the Norm range is for wines we don't make every year - in this case, a delightful blend of our best pinot gris and pinot noir.

"This is splendidly fruited and gorgeously expressed on the nose showing watermelon, lemon peel, apple and white floral notes. The palate delivers pristine fruit flavours and vibrant mouthfeel, wonderfully supported by whispering sweetness and bright acidity, finishing persistent and delicious. 5 stars." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Grown in the Horowhenua, on the west coast of the North Island (itself 'Not the Norm', in terms of wine regions), the attractive 2019 vintage (4*) is also a bit different in terms of its sweetness (9.8 grams/litre residual sugar). Blended from Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, it is bright pink, fresh and lively, with strong peach, strawberry and spice flavours, a hint of apricots, and lots of drink-young charm4 stars." Michael Cooper's Wine Buyer's Guide

"This gorgeous pinot noir/pinot gris blend leaps from the glass with fruity aromas of red berry fruit and lemon-lime zest adorned by floral notes and honey. This off-dry beauty showers the palate with ripe red apple and sweet watermelon flavours followed on the mid and back palate with strawberry-rhubarb pie then crunchy ruby red grapefruit tang persisting through the clean, refreshing finale. It has good balance and oodles of alluring charm. Serve well-chilled and poured with charcuterie or a well-stocked deli board. 92 points." Vic Harradine,
